Anime podcast mind map

This is our cover for Nerd, Geek, Dork.

This is my d+d character, which i didn’t get to finish as we decided to do the podcast on anime as we know alot on anime.
Did you achieve you goal and why?
I did achieve my Goal as I made a Plan to venture out to Portsmouth guild hall and take some sequences for my video sequence and I also got what I needed to make the video, which was People holding up signs, rose petals falling, video of day and night, Video of trees and finally a video of the clouds and a video of people holding hands and smiling.
What would you do differently in the future?
What I would do differently in the future is the planning part of it as I did’t like our plan so I wasn’t motivated enough to do it, if I were to do it again I would plan out a topic that I enjoy and work on that instead of picking out a topic that I don’t like. But also sticking to the plan.
What would you do again?
I would work with different people as they allowed me to think outside of the box and think for myself and be independent on myself instead of relying on somebody else to come up with a plan.
What skills did you gain?
The skills I gained is how to develop and edit a video sequence on Adobe Premiere Pro. And also the skills I gained was creating a detailed storyboard on what was going to take place during the project, and creating a detailed equipment list.
What skills do you need to develop further?
The skills I need to develop further in the future is how to officially use a camera as I am still a bit shy on using a camera. But also I need to improve on producing a detailed production schedule as it is very important for the project and I was a little behind on the schedule.
Did I achieve the brief and how so?
I did achieve the brief as I did take small shots of sequences which was apart of the plan and used the small shots of sequences to make a music sequence video which I enjoyed
Finished Project

Color Combination ideas that I got from Pinterest

The Sketch

The character placement, I got the idea from the Goonies movie poster

Did You achieve your goal? why?
I did achieve my goal, as I wanted the background to be all sorts of blue so your eye will immediately go towards the characters. And I wanted my characters to be bright and colorful and I did achieve that.
What would you do differently in the future?
What I would do differently in the future is I might change the media of the poster and do it on Adobe Illustration as I want to develop my skills further in Graphic Design.
What would you do again?
What I would Defiantly do again is the watercolor as I enjoyed creating my poster and applying watercolor to it.
What skills did you gain?
The skills I gained from this is sketching and planning out where you want your characters to be and what position you want them in, also I gained using a different variety of facial expressions.
What skills do you still need to develop further?
Even though I enjoy watercolor I skill need to develop my skill further in that field because I feel like my skills are rusty and not that great as my blending in the background isn’t that great and I would like to develop my skill in acrylic paint as I would need that if I am to use watercolor.
Did I achieve the brief and how so?
I think I did achieve the brief as I created my Poster whilst using the media that I wanted to use.
The poster was one of the earliest forms of advertisement and began to develop as a medium for visual communication in the early 19th century. Posters influenced the development of typography as they were meant to be read from a distance. The poster quickly spread around the world and became a staple of the graphic design trade. Many artists as well, such as Henry Toulouse-Latrec and Henry van de Velde, created posters.
They were used to promote various political parties, recruit soldiers, advertise products and spread ideas to the general public.

Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix main setting is as Hogwarts the school for witchcraft and wizardry but we are introduced to new sub settings such as, 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, the home of the Dursleys, Twelve Grimmauld Place, the former home of Sirius Black and the headquarters of the order of the phoenix, and the department of mysteries where a major battle takes place.
The plot is structured in a chronological order.

The main conflict is that Harry and his friends help the Order of the Phoenix in their quest to thwart the return of the evil Lord Voldemort.
The second major conflict is Dolores Umbridge and the Ministry as they try and interfere with Hogwarts.
Rising Action: Lord Voldemort begins to invade Harry’s mind, controlling his dreams.
Climax · Harry has a vision of his godfather, Sirius Black, being tortured by Lord Voldemort, and he rushes to the Ministry of Magic to save him.
Falling Action · The prophecy is destroyed, Voldemort escapes, and Harry and Dumbledore return to Hogwarts.
The story is being told through Harry’s eyes, we see him struggle a lot through out his journey at Hogwarts and the focus is purely on him.
Occlumency: It is where a wizard must free his or her mind of all distractions. Before Harry’s lessons, Snape empties his thoughts into Dumbledore’s Pensieve—a device designed to collect and hold an individual’s thoughts and memories—so he doesn’t unintentionally reveal anything private to Harry. Unfortunately, Harry is not allowed the same luxury. Instead, Snape demands that he concentrate, forcing his mind clear without outside help. With so much going on in his young life, this becomes impossible for Harry, and Occlumency ultimately serves as a symbol of Harry’s youth because Harry lacks the dedication and work ethic to truly empty his mind.
Educational Decrees: Dolores Umbridge’s Educational Decrees suggest that corruption and unchecked can go hand in hand. With the authority of the ministry behind her, Umbridge soon becomes drunk with newfound power and decides to use the decrees to extort even more power over the students of Hogwarts.
O. W. L. Exams: The O.W.L exams are very important to the students as this will help them in their educational future and are designed to be representative of his or her emerging magical skills, they suggest the difference between success in the classroom and success in the real world. Harry is already a powerful and influential wizard, capable of teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts on his own, but he is just a an ordinary student, but in this sens the O. W. L exams seem almost silly as Harry had faced against Voldemort on multiple occasions and lived and yet he is still terribly worried about passing his O.W.L.s
The relationship between knowledge and time; education as empowerment; the importance of unity
The pace of the Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix film evenly paced at the beginning and the pace increases towards the end as it makes you be on the edge of your seat as you don’t know what is about to happen.
